I am a born and raised Texan from the Dallas Metroplex. I received my Bachelor's in English and Masters in Library Science from Texas Woman's University in Denton, TX.

After college, I worked in the finance world for 4 years. Although I enjoyed my time in finance, my true passion is teaching and inspiring life-long learners! I am a certified teacher in elementary education with a Recognized distinction from the Texas Education Agency. This is my eighth year teaching. I try to find ways to make learning interesting and engaging for my students by incorporating their hobbies and interests.
