"Hello! I am a director, writer, and actress with a global background, growing up between South Korea and Hawaii. Since graduating from USC’s School of Cinematic Arts with a major in Film/TV Production and a minor in Screenwriting, I have written/directed short films that have premiered at Oscar-qualifying festivals such as the Hawaii International Film Festival. My most recent proof of concept short, TO THE LIGHTS, has been nominated for Best Short at HIFF and won the Jury Award for Best Narrative at NFFTY. TO THE LIGHTS is one of several full feature screenplays I've written.

In addition to films, I’ve directed national commercials for brands such as Mother’s Nutritional Center, which has aired on various channels and platforms from Nickelodeon to Hulu. I’m represented across the board by Range Media Partners for writing, directing, and acting. I’ve worked for 1.5 years at Sony Pictures as President Sanford Panitch’s second assistant. At Sony, I’ve read dozens of high profile scripts and sat in pitch meetings alongside Columbia Pictures executives and talent.

Given my experience as a filmmaker and my knowledge of the studio system, I am able to lend my expertise to students and help them achieve their professional, personal, and creative goals. I’ve worked as a TA for producer, Carol Baum, in a classroom setting at USC and have also tutored students one on one at Sylvan Learning Center for 3 years.
