"Hello! I'm Darrin, a third year medical student. I am a graduate of the University of Arkansas with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. I have a passion for education and it is my mission to help medical students study for their pre-clinical courses and crush the USMLE Step 1 exam.

I have been tutoring medical students for over 3 years now to help improve academic performance and confidence in pre-clinical curriculum so they can ultimately succeed in their clinical clerkships. I have had the privilege to work with dozens of students for over 500 hours as a tutor through my medical school. I take pride in helping my students understand difficult concepts, learn crucial test-taking skills, and develop effective study plans to tackle medical school. Some of my research in medical school is also focused on improving peer tutoring practices and how to effectively tutor students to become successful medical students.
