"Hi! I’m Alexa and I recently graduated from UT Austin with a degree in Neuroscience, and I’m passionate about helping students succeed in biology, chemistry, and neuroscience.

For two years, I was a Teaching Assistant for Biology I, where I led review sessions, held office hours, and helped students build a strong foundation in the subject. I’ve also worked one-on-one as a private tutor, supporting high school and college students with coursework, test prep, and study strategies tailored to their needs.

In addition to teaching, I’ve spent two summers conducting research at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, where I worked on a molecular cloning project related to leukemia. That experience strengthened my understanding of the material I teach and gave me a deeper appreciation for how classroom concepts apply in real-world science.
