"I’m a Vanderbilt University graduate with 4+ years of tutoring experience, including SAT Reading/Writing and Math, and long-term support for AP courses, especially AP U.S. History (APUSH) and AP English (argumentation, rhetorical analysis, and timed writing). One of the most satisfying parts of my work is helping students turn “almost there” performance into consistent excellence. I’ve worked with students who were stuck in the B/C range on essays (strong ideas, but unclear structure, weak evidence integration, or inconsistent analysis) and helped them build repeatable systems that translated into consistent A-level writing. Beyond tutoring, I’m also a Maryland-based educator teaching across the state in multiple subjects, and I teach in juvenile detention center classrooms.
