"I have been an educator for 20 years now and am passionate about helping students understand and enjoy learning. My classrooms were places where students could bring their whole selves and discover new ways of approaching and solving problems. I believe that instruction should reflect both how students learn best while also challenging them to see the work from different points of view. There is never only one way to solve a problem; students should be given the space to find as many different strategies as possible.

I'm a former high math teacher (Algebra and Geometry) and school leader, having worked with students across K-12. In addition, I have taught college access seminars and standardized test prep to students for almost 20 years. As a school leader and administrator, I have coached a variety of content teachers to help center student needs and learning while keeping standards and expectations high.
