"I have been teaching Latin and history for 20 years at the middle and high school levels, and one-on-one work with students has always been an important part of my approach to teaching. I work hard to understand every student's learning style, help them to feel comfortable and confident in the material they are studying, and find joy in their learning.

I have bachelors and masters degrees in Latin and Greek, and teaching certification in Massachusetts.

I have taught everything from 7th grade to 12th grade in independent schools, and have taught every level of Latin, from Latin I to advanced topics beyond the AP. I have also taught Western Civ, Global Studies, and US History. I also have lots of experience helping students with English grammar and essay writing for literature or history.
