"My name is Peter and I am a graduate of Furman University, where I earned a Bachelor of Music in vocal performance, cum laude. At Furman, in addition to vocal performance, I also studied beginner, intermediate, and advanced music theory, taking classes past the required level. I also graduated from the Fine Arts Center here in Greenville, SC where I also studied voice and music theory.

I love teaching because I believe music is at the core of who we are as human beings, and every person should have a chance to explore and cultivate their natural abilities. I teach and tutor beginner and intermediate music theory, sight singing, and vocal technique for classical, choral, and musical theater styles. I prioritize technical skills and technique building to equip singers to master the art rather than a singular piece of music.
