"I'm looking to teach computer literacy for people who either did not grow up around computers or wish to understand how to use them better. Whether you need someone to teach you how to log into your email, set up your printer, or even need someone to show you the basics. I can set up either in person meetings or virtual to help you meet your goals.

I have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, and I am currently employed full time as IT support for case managers that use PCs at varying computer literacy levels. The support I provide deals with both the software on the laptops as well as occasional hardware issues. On the software end this includes troubleshooting issues with Gmail, Google Drive, Windows, and Microsoft Office products. On the hardware end this involved testing display issues with the screen or doing upgrades on a laptop's memory.

I've also configured PCs for use by the case manager which is taking the PC from its factory defaults and setting up the user profile and downloading/installing needed software. For existing employees I use remote software that is installed on their PC or smartphone to provide support while on call. I've also become familiar with various web conferencing services such as Zoom, Meet, and Microsoft Teams to set up meetings.

I currently do troubleshooting and setup with mobile devices such as smartphones and hotspots, as well as printers. Currently the models I work most often with are Brother and HP printers, Android and iPhone smartphones, and Verizon hotspots." less...
