"I'm a working professional actor with over twenty years of experience, and I currently teach acting at California State University, Long Beach. I hold an MFA in Theatre from CSULB and a BFA in Theatre from University of Michigan. Acting isn't just something I teach—it's what I do for a living. I'm still auditioning, still booking work, and still in practice myself, because I believe that's what actors do. We stay in practice.

My approach starts with you—your body, your voice, your story. I'm not interested in teaching you to be someone else or to imitate what you think an actor should look like. The goal is for the character to be revealed through the unique human being telling the story, which means we begin by helping you find and trust your own instrument.
