"I'm David, and when I'm not tutoring, I work teaching essay writing (with a focus on rhetoric) and playwriting at the University level. I have a BA in Theatre with a concentration in playwriting (from an Ivy League school), and an MFA in playwriting. With all of my writing background, I'm lucky enough to be the child of two math teachers, so I've always had a good head for math as well, finishing up Calc 3 and Differential Equations while still in high school. And ever since high school, I've been tutoring in both math and English.

I have two degrees that focus on writing, and it's something I do creatively every day. I've been teaching writing in various forms for the past ten years. I'm a personable instructor who can teach you individual subjects or help with overall prep on the SAT or ACT.
