I've edited projects that include academic essays, books, articles, and dissertations in a wide variety of subjects ranging from the humanities and education to sociology and the sciences. I thrive on helping writers to develop their craft, including coaching clients on how to create a consistent writing practice, set and reach goals, and more.

I love to work with students to craft compelling college admissions essays and graduate school statements of purpose/writing samples. I am also well-versed in APA 7 and in the intricacies of specialty formatting requirements for dissertations and other projects.

As a writing instructor at Indiana University, I guided students to develop their critical thinking and writing skills through course assignments, readings, and one-on-one advice and editing sessions. I am also TEFL certified and have taught English as a Second Language courses for adult professionals. My experiences inside and outside the classroom make me an adept and attentive writing coach for clients of all experience levels, including ESL speakers and writers.
