My goal and hope as your tutor is to help you get to the heart of the stories you would like to share.

We will work together to grow your confidence in who you are, what you think, and how you can express yourself more clearly and effectively.

I am a freelance writer, copy editor, and artist. My career began in college as an intern at a magazine based in Los Angeles, where I became the assistant to the Editor-in-Chief upon graduating from the University of La Verne with my B.A. in Communications with departmental honors. I have since published stories and interviews about food, travel, culture, and lifestyle in print and online.

I love travel and foreign languages, and have volunteered abroad tutoring elementary to middle school students in English, in Hungary.

My most recent experiences in tutoring have been in editing personal statements for grad school applications and federal scholarships.
