"I am a recently retired Knox County English teacher. In my 38 years in education, 18 in Minnesota and 20 in Tennessee, I have taught 8th grade through 12th grade students, basic through college-level classes; I've done it "all". If I had to specify an area of expertise, it would be writing. My favorite part of any teaching day was actually after school. It would be a rare day when I did not have students come in for extra help. Working one-on-one with a student was always so rewarding. I have always been passionate about teaching and helping young people reach potentials that they didn't know were possible -- which is why I want to tutor. My passion continues."
