"Hi! I’m a certified and experienced retired teacher (due to cancer, not age). I taught elementary school when I lived in NYC, but have a BS in English and tutor just about everything, though writing and editing are my specialties. I have helped people write and edit papers, resumes, research papers, and graduate work. I also help people sound more professional and articulate for interviews and oral presentations.

I love helping people feel educated and confident. My past tutoring students were able to finish their college degrees, graduate high school, and get jobs they wanted when they all thought that wasn’t possible.

I am excellent at what I do. I can tell you exactly what kind of work and time you will need to achieve your goals the first time we meet. I do require twelve hours advance notice that you need to cancel or change your time. I also require meeting in a public place. I look forward to working with you!!!

I have a BA in English from Oberlin College. I was editor-in-chief of my high school newspaper. I have tutored many, many students in grammar, interpreting literature, proofreading, improving writing and vocabulary, and everything necessary to become a better writer.
