"My name is Glenn Early and I live in Wyckoff, NJ. I returned to college in my early-50s, earned my BA in Literature from Ramapo College in 2011, and am a NJ certified English Teacher and K-6 Elementary School Teacher, with Advanced Standing. I completed my Student Teaching in the spring of 2015, working at St. John's Academy (a K-8 Catholic school in Hillsdale, NJ) where I taught 5th graders Reading, Language Arts and Social Studies.

Having worked as a professional writing tutor, both privately and at Bergen Community College, I have extensive experience helping students - both English speakers and ELLs- develop effective study skills and improve the quality of their written assignments. I also volunteer at Project Literacy and participate in a Reading program at Garfield, NJ, Public Library.

I am a mature, friendly, and reliable individual who would enjoy working with you or your child. I treat people with respect and bring a value-based philosophy to my collaborative work with students and tutees.
