"Hello!

My name is Maia and I graduated in 2024 from Yale College with distinction in the English major. While in undergrad, I tutored students through college admissions both privately and through a college prep company. From 2022-2025, I've had personal clients accepted to Harvard, Yale, Stanford, and Georgetown.

After graduating, I worked in Seoul, South Korea at Leaders Academy as the Director of English Programs. As Director, I was responsible for building curriculum tailored towards improving students' English reading, writing, and speaking skills. I taught courses for English-as-a-Second-Language (ESL) and English-as-a-Primary-Language (EPL) students aged 8-18.

At Leaders Academy, I coached our Elementary and Secondary Debate students in Parliamentary and World Schools Debate, Original Oratory, and Impromptu Speaking. My students ranged in age from 12-18 and won competitions such as the Seoul Worlds Invitational (2025).
