"Hi! I’m a Yale undergraduate (B.A. in Economics with Certificates in Data Science and Japanese) and a Cum Laude high school graduate with a perfect single-composite ACT score of 36 (Math 35, Science 36, English 36, Reading 36). I also earned 5’s in every AP I took: AP Calculus BC, AP English Language & Composition, AP English Literature & Composition, and AP French Language & Culture.

Teaching & tutoring experience:

I’ve been tutoring since my sophomore year of high school as an official Peer Tutor, working one-on-one and in small groups with students in all grades (9–12) and across a wide range of subjects. I also served as a Peer Counselor, which trained me to be patient, empathetic, and good at meeting students where they are—academically and emotionally.

In addition, I spent my junior summer in Japan teaching an English curriculum to learners of all ages: children as young as four, elementary and middle school students, and older adults. I designed level-appropriate lessons, used games, stories, and real-life examples for younger students, and focused on conversation, confidence, and clear grammar explanations for older learners. That experience taught me how to adjust my teaching style quickly based on age, background, and language level.
