"As an honors senior at the University of Pittsburgh triple majoring in Neuroscience, Biology, and Economics on the pre-med track, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for both science and education. Over the past few years, I’ve combined these passions through a wide range of tutoring and teaching experiences in classroom, one-on-one, and volunteer settings.

I am a certified Level I tutor and currently serve as a peer tutor in the Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences, where I lead weekly sessions to support college students in biology, physiology, physics, and related subjects. I also work as a Teaching Assistant for upper-level physiology and Honors Biology, where I host office hours, lead recitations, and create customized study materials. I’ve previously tutored both high school and college students in standardized test prep (including the SAT and MCAT) as well as in-class subjects, focusing on tailoring sessions to the student’s learning style and goals.

Beyond the university, I serve as a certified volunteer educator with the Minority Pre-Nursing Institute, where I lead weekly middle school lessons on physiology and hands-on lab topics. I’ve also supported adult learners through the Altoona Area School District, helping them work toward their GED, CDL, or English fluency.
