"I graduated from Bates College with a BA in Mathematics and received my masters in secondary education, specializing in math, from the College of William and Mary. I have taught and tutored from middle school to the community college level.

I love being able to help students on an individual basis. With tutoring, I can tailor the lesson plans to the unique needs of the student. It gives me great joy to be part of the "aha" moment when a particular concept finally clicks.

During my teaching career, I have tutored students in Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Pre Algebra, and Pre Calculus. What makes me stand out, however, is my experience parenting my 24-year-old son with autism. He has truly taught me patience and forced me to come up with creative ways of teaching.
