Reading in Kaneohe, HI

Hi Orianne. I have a 7th grader who does not read at grade level, especially fiction. He's (url available upon purchase), so I 'think' we've figured out that he doesn't scoop or use other fluency strategies. So reading is consequently slow and no fun and, especially in books for his age, he's missing all the good bits. He's coachable, so I'm thinking that he needs help with some specific techniques to learn how to read differently - in hopes that will unlock everything. Does this sound like something you would be interested in tackling with us? Thanks.
