Dear Mary Beth, My name is D. L., and I’m reaching out to inquire about your tutoring services. I have a 7-year-old nephew, Hunter, who is currently struggling with reading. He’s in the first grade and doesn’t yet know how to read, which I believe has been impacting his confidence and behavior in class. Hunter possibly has ADHD, and I suspect his frustration with not understanding the material may contribute to him acting out. I’m looking for a tutor who has patience and experience working with children who may have learning challenges, and your services came highly recommended.
