I want to: Build a strong foundation in syntax, structure, and logic Learn to write programs from scratch—not just edit existing code Understand and debug both common and uncommon errors Get hands-on with real-world examples, including dataset handling, job scheduling, and IBM utilities like dfsort and icetool Develop the confidence to troubleshoot job failures and optimize batch performance I’m seeking someone who’s patient, thorough, and can explain concepts clearly. My goal is to grow from beginner to advanced and be able to build and maintain mainframe programs confidently.
