Hi Yvette! I have a 9 year old daughter that is in the 4th grade. She is struggling with her reading, phonics, decoding, etc. A little background on Harper.. Kindergarten-half of 2nd grade she was in a Dual Language Immersion program. I started noticing she was getting behind and I pulled her from the program and put her in a normal 2nd grade class. All of her foundational learning was taught in Spanish, which is why I believe she is having such a hard time. She failed her 3rd grade EOG and Read to Achieve, went to summer school and failed it again. So, currently she is in 4th grade but labeled as 3rd grade in reading. I fear she is falling further and further behind and just want to find her some extra support. I would like to have her work with you once a week, if possible, maybe more if you feel she needs it.
