I have a first grader who needs some remedial reading help. I found out today that his teacher wants to hold him back due to his reading skills. Studies show that grade retention is not the best answer. Early intervention and addressing the root problem is the best solution. I don't want to wait another minute. We need help now. He does have a speech delay associated with ear infections and hearing problems as a toddler. He has since passed multiple hearing tests and attends speech class at school. He lacks confidence when it comes to reading and is embarrassed that he struggles. Please let me know if your expertise could help us. Thank you. Cindy
