Question in Humble, TX

Hello Joyelle, Please forgive me if i am not a student and contacted you in here. I would like to start tutoring but it has been a while since my last teaching experience and that was in my country and not in the US. Would you possibly give me some information about how to start? For example is there any public or community college in Humble that they can train teachers? (I searched and found HCDE but they have courses for training full time teachers and courses are long and costly I am looking for a quicker option with a lower cost to become a tutor only) The thing is i am not familiar with the US curriculum for students.
