Java in Roseville, CA

I am going to need to tune up my programming knowledge quickly. I am doing online training, but I think it would be more effective if I spend a little while with a person who knows JAVA very well, so I can ask questions and bring myself up to speed quickly. My near future is going to be challenging, since I have to move on July 1, (only about 5 miles away). I have a number of opportunities as a UI/UX developer open to me. However JAVA seems to be a requirement that I am just not proficient in, and it seems to be a very common theme among job descriptions. MY GOAL is simple. Learn enough, in a short period of time, to bring myself up to speed with JAVA programming so that I can land a good job. I know I can do it. I am a VERY speedy learner and just need some personal help. A potential job that I would be perfect for is opening up in Folsom, CA. I would be willing to meet with you closer to Folsom if required.
