Botany in Boston, MA
Hi Nathan,
I have a couple small leaf schefflera plants which I can easily propagate (and keep under control) by snipping off the stems and putting them in water to root.
However, I have a large leaf schefflera that has to be air layered to propagate (and thus stop wanting to grow through my ceiling and up through my neighbors living room floor). The last time someone (who has now moved) did it I did not pay much attention.
I am interested in hiring someone to come to my home in downtown Boston (guest parking is available in our garage) and do the initial work (5 or 6 stems) while I take notes and a couple photos. I should be able to check for rooting myself during the six weeks after that but if there is a problem I'd call for assistance. I might or might not want help with the planting and staking after there are roots.
I have moss and saran wrap and rooting hormone but am glad to change it if my selection was not optimal.
Is this something you would be interested in doing? Scheff needs help.
Best,
C.

- Prof BAM is absolutely amazing.
In 3 weeks, brought my son's regents test score up 14 points.
He's professional and extremely good at what he does.
He shows his students how to break the test questions down to be more successful.
He always works with our busy schedule. Highly recommend.
