Hi Sid, My name is J.. Ive have quite an interesting story about the cpa. Its been a long journey and im nowhere unfortunately. 5 tests (3 far and 2 audit). i have been studying by myself with very little accounting background and no peer review groups, no tutors, no frame of reference except for youtube and yaeger self study cpa review and my wiley books. the good news is i have learned a lot. and its not going anywhere, the things that i have learned from FAR are stuck in my head and ill remember them forever or at least have a very good understanding of them. after the third test, i didnt do well on the sims and im not optimistic. I had to look in the mirror and just say, 1 year effectively studying all day has been wasted (except for walking away with a lot of solid accounting info in my mind). i like accounting but im just hitting a wall with the test. I think i know enough to pass but im not getting the right test, it has a way of knowing my weakness, so the only way to fix that is to brush off and try a new path to get this thing passed. I have big aspirations and the cpa is the right step for me. i begged another guy for help but he wanted 175$ an hour and to drop his rate he wanted 50 hours paid down before he would skype. what are your rates to skype. i might only need 10-15 hours to assess where im at and to polish far. aud was easy, just memorizing really. the other two ill need a good amount of help. I love learning not memorizing, if we skype youll see that i have a good understanding i just need to talk with someone to conceptualize what is going on. please contact me when you get the time. im really excited to learn. i will save all my money (sans rent, cellphone and food) to pay you to help me. have a great day
