Good evening Cheryl, I am looking for a tutor for my son who will be entering the 8th grade in the fall. He has been struggling with various reading and writing skills. He has problems reading and disseminating the information properly. He has also struggled with being able to write reports on his reading assignments. He is excellent at math, except when it comes to word problems. I believe this is tired to not having the proper vocabulary skills needed to disseminate the material. If you think you will be able help, please contact me. I am looking for a tutor to meet him at a local library, perhaps twice a week for 2 hours during the summer months. Thank you.
