I have a very smart 7th grade daughter. Up until the 6th grade, she excelled in math but suddenly give in to defeat that she had yet faced after hearing her peers discuss how "difficult" 6th grade math was going to be. In addition, prior to enrolling her in KIPP- Gaston College Preparatory she was a victim oops I mean student of the Halifax County School System and I believe that she does not have a solid foundation in Math and is therefore not comfortable with the next levels. She "strongly" dislikes math and I would love for her to embrace if not love math.....HELP
