Algebra 1 in Hudson, OH

My son Matthew is an 8th grader at Hudson Middle School. He is taking Algebra 1 and has asked for some additional help. His average is about 90%, so he is doing okay. However, the class does a lot of group work and he is worried that his class is not keeping up with the other algebra classes and he will not be prepared to move on to geometry, algebra 2 and calculus. Based on the calendar, it looks like Thursday afternoon is his best after-school time. Evenings or weekends would be fine, too, if that works better. Many thanks for your help.
