Hello David and Amy, my name is Alyana. I am a full time student of COA, in Alameda. I am currently struggling through my second attempted semester in Chemistry and unfortunately (for some odd reason) there is only one tutor available at school on days that do not fit my schedule. I have had pretty good grades up until last semester entering in Chemistry. I especially need help with unit conversion/dimensional analysis. It is imperative that I pass this chemistry class so that I can proceed with my other goals. I am not a quiter and I take school seriously. Unfortunately, I cannot nearly afford your services, however if you would be willing to help me on a slidding scale or maybe if you guys know of someone in Marin County that you think may be able to work with me, I would really be greatful. I have a two year old child and we are a low-income family. I\'m a single parent trying to complete my prerequisites so that I can get into a dental hygiene program. In my years of school, this is my first time actually fearful of not being able to attain my goals. Chemistry is the most challenging class I have PERSONALLY ever had and I just need someone patient and willing to help me, not do my work for me, but HELP me get past this extremely stressful and challenging class. Again, if you\'re unable to help, if you know someone that can please pass on the word and ask them to contact me ASAP. I would be truly appreciative.
