Helen, Please call me regarding some tutoring, for not only my son who is having a very hard time this last bit of the school year but also for my wife and myself. We think that it is a bad student/teacher relationship,our middle son is a very, very smart young man. he has gone from being honor roll to a D in reading, a C in Language Arts, and a B in math. Please contact me as soon as possible. I see that you are ESL certified and it would be awesome to have a non biased opinion and help with him. My wife and myself are truly concerned about his lack of caring and for one Teacher to belittle a child so harshly in first grade is hard to work with. ( our oldest daughter had this same teacher and she is now stuck in an IEP, when she didn't need to be.) We are experiencing Deja Vu with him and the administration could care less.
