Dear Richard, My daughter is doing AP Pre Calc over the summer. She needs help in the following areas: Limits and Continuity, Derivatives, Applications for Derivatives. Continuous Functions, Sandwich Theorem, Limits involving infinity. Slopes, tangent lines, derivatives, velocity, speed, derivatives of trigonometric functions, the chain rule, implicit differentiation and fractional powers, linear approximations and differentials. Maxima, minima (local and absolute). Mean value theorem. Predicting end behavior. Polynomial functions, Newton’s method, optimization. Rational functions and economics applications. Anti derivatives, initial value problems, mathematical modeling. Are you able to tutor her? Do you have availability on Friday 8/3? Please let me know. Thanks.
