Dear Alexander. My name is M. Derai. I am 18 years old and a Senior at Mentor High School. I am emailing you because I am looking for an outside the box thinker for my reading comprehension difficulties. This issue has been going on since Kindergarten but I first realized it in the Eighth Grade. My problem is that I have difficulties being able to transform words into mental pictures because of my delayed reading development as a result of my visual impairment. Because of that, I would be interested to know what possible strategies or techniques do you think will help improve my mental imagery skills for recall?
