Dear Caitlin: I have a 7 year old daughter who is struggling with reading. I’ve noticed she’s struggling to decode words, specifically with vowels blends. I’m also a bit concerned that she sometimes mixes up the letters in words. For example, while reading today she read the word “felt” as “left”.
