On Monday, July 30th, world-famous actor, athlete and former California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger celebrated his 65th year. Today is the 50th Anniversary of the legendary British rock band The Rolling Stones. The first performance of the Rolling Stones took place at the Marquee Club in London on July 12, 1962 when Mick Jagger (lead vocals), Keith Richards (guitar, vocals), Brian Jones (guitar), Dick Taylor (bass), Ian Stewart (piano) and Mick Avory (drums) appeared on the stage under that name for the first time.  Continue reading →

Christopher Levett made the first attempt to found a settlement in Casco Bay, this area has changed several names: Machigonne, Casco and Falmouth.
