Tutorz has increased its performance in June 2011 over the (poor performing) month of May. That is despite a lull in overall tutoring activity due to the end of school season. The most positive event in June 2011 has been increase of Tutorz’ PR rank at the Google search — from 4 to 5. This enables Tutorz to capture an even higher percentage of the tutoring-related traffic on Google.
There were 209 unique, non-spam lead (up from 163 in June). 3,210 visitors came to Tutorz. (2,440 in April). The visitor-to-lead conversion ratio remained at a relative high of 6.5%. Another positive event was the number of new tutor sign ups which doubled when compared to May (31 in June vs 15 in May). Alexa lowered Tutorz’ Global Rank down to 12.6 million (12.2 million in May) but improved the U.S. local rank to 310,000 (640,000 in May). In doing so Alexa recognizes the domestic focus of Tutorz.com. Unfortunately, the bounce rate has increased yet again from 43.6% to 47%.
